We believe that even the most practical and necessary
construction doesn't have to look dull - and it certainly shouldn't
look ugly.
Take retaining walls, for example. They're often built to do
their job, rather than being designed with aesthetics in mind. Our
aim is to design and build walls that complement their
surroundings.
This project involved constructing a large wall made out of
gabion baskets and natural stone. Our client loved that the wall
blended into the garden. And we loved the challenge of keeping our
balance on the river bank - although we don't mind admitting that
one or two of us failed!
This particular design enables and encourages plants to grow
among the stonework to create a more natural feel.
