Self Build Plots

Derwood Homes & Developments Ltd specialise in the sourcing of residential land in South Wales, and securing the necessary planning and highway consents. We then sell these plots of land to people wishing to build their own home.

In the current housing market, the "self-build" option is proving even more attractive, as approximately one third of the build cost, (together with input VAT suffered), may be saved by the efficient management of the project. In addition, the self builder is able to design a house specifically customised to their own requirements.

Whilst circumstances will vary from site to site, a plot will usually be offered for sale with the benefit of an adoptable serviced road, and accessibility to gas (if available), electric, water and mains drainage connections.

In addition to supplying the land, Derwood Homes specialise in building high quality homes for clients. We are also able to assist the plot owners with the management of the build from start to finish, and on selected sites we even build and sell new housing consisting of 3, 4 and 5 bedrooms.
